Xfinity Communities™ powers Colleges, Universities and other multi-dwelling properties with custom Internet and TV solutions. As the platform’s technology and service evolved, Comcast looked to Havit to educate internal stakeholders and drive interest and awareness among property owners and managers who face increasing pressure to make their properties stand out from the rest.

Strategy

By looking at audience insights and motivations around what smarter living means, we determined that people want custom, highly-tailored products and services with strong service reliability. These insights helped us develop an exciting creative solution that differentiated Xfinity Communities from the competition and conveyed how they could vastly enhance a property’s on-site amenities to improve the lives of their residents, students or patients.

Solution

What good is advanced technology if it doesn’t improve everyday lives? We centered messaging around how Xfinity Communities goes beyond smart technology to deliver something far more valuable: smarter living. From an array of entertainment options to Wifi coverage to reliable home security – we showed how properties could transform into smart, connected communities.

Internal campaign elements included customized sales launch kits with collateral and branded premium items. The customer-facing campaign included an educational video series deployed via digital display and social media, custom-animated spots, print ads, and collateral.
